Kala has been grooming dogs for veteranarians, now at her own shop for over 15 years I think. She is a perfectionist, clean freak, and loves all animals. You can feel safe bringing your pet to Kala. She's wonderful!!!! I took our 9 year old yorkie to Kala for the first time last week. I can honestly say that this was the best groom he has ever gotten. Kayla and her coworker gave us exactly the groom we wanted and took excellent care of our baby! Furthermore her shop was clean, and her staff carried themselves with more kindness and class than others we've experienced in the area. This is definitely a shop for people who care about their pets!  By Diane M from Bixby, OK Posted Feb 23, 2016 She groomed my toy poodle and did an excellent job. I would recommend her. I took my daughter's white toy poodle and she had to be shaved, but she was covered with mats, the hair will grow and she will be pretty. That was the only way it could have been done. I have observed her with the dogs and she has a very caring attitude. By Jane L from Bixby, OK Posted Aug 11, 2015 Took my schnauzer there, shaved my dog bald (no beard or skirt, I did brush out coat before taking) was even bleeding in several places,charged me extra for this grooming. Kala even got short tempered with me when I was shocked about how my dog looked. My dog died. Would not recommend any animal to go there! By Jane D from Bixby, OK Posted Jul 30, 2015 I took my mini schnauzer to her to be groomed, yes my dog had long coat, I brushed all the mats out before taking my dog. Kala charged me extra for de-matting, for a flea bath (was on flea meds from vet, no fleas on the dog before I took my dog there) Kala shaved the entire dog! Shaved the beard, skirt even the eyebrows! Gouged the skin with the shears, traumatized my poor baby! My dog was never the same, took my dog to different vets trying to help . MY DOG DIED! Yes Kala is to blame! DO NOT TAKE ANY ANIMAL TO HER! By Joy C from Bixby, OK Posted May 5, 2015 Horrible place I'm new to Bixby and I took Bella my Pomeranian there for a haircut and wasn't pleased, but I thought I would give her another try BIG MISTAKE! She has the most uneven cut shave to the skin and legs look like clippers were dull. And my dog hasn't been the same two days later still laying around sleeping hasn't eaten in two days. I have an elderly dog that they kept all day without water or letting him out or actually getting him groomed!!! Kayla is a reprehensible human being and should not be grooming animals and neither should the guy that is there with her.... I now keep her groomed that way year round. I would definitely reccommend her. She was pretty traumatized because I had just gotten her that morning and she wasn't ready to leave the home she was at before, but had to. I took her to Kala for a groom she desperately needed, and she came back a whole new dog. She was so happy and pranced around the rest of the day. Kala did an awesome job for a great price, I loved that she added bows to her hair before she sent her home. Awesome service. She will be back often! I had a very hard time finding someone who could groom her and treat her in the manner I received in Dallas. That was, until Kayla opened her business. She is awesome with her grooming and such a wonderful caregiver! Because Morgan was an older dog, Kayla took special care with her aches, and I could tell from Morgan's demeaner when I picked her up that she felt sooooo pretty and loved! She always does a great job with my little Bea. Bea loves miss Kala and gets excited every time we come for a grooming. The pricing is excellent for the quality of service.
