I would never leave my three "girls" with anyone but Shirley, at Arnold Creek Cat Retreat. It stands out head and shoulders above every other boarding facility I've visited and researched, both in Portland and elsewhere.
The accommodations are fantastic (please visit their website; the pictures are very accurate), and Shirley is an extremely knowledgeable and caring cat person. I dearly love my three, and know I don't have to worry about anything when I'm away. I still miss them, of course, but I know they're being very well looked after, and are comfortable and relaxed.
