Commenting on the previous review, I think that KPVH does a great job and always give the client choices for treatment. Any procedure is done with the pets best interest in mind, never to just get money. My dog had an exploratory as well, we were diagnosed at another clinic and after getting a quote of $2500 for surgery by many other vets in town we called KPVH. Not to mention we had already spent $800 for an exam and x-rays & bloodwork. Our dog ended up having surgery at KPVH, only tofind there wasn't anything stuck either but they explained to me the reason they thought something could be blocking the intestines and our options for treatment. The doctors here are very knowledgable but they are not "gods". All doctors can make mistakes including human doctors, but they really try to do the best they can. They took womderful care of our family pet and in not tiem he was good as new. We still take our pets to KPVH and could imagine going anywhere else, WE LOVE THEM!!!!

As far as I'm concerned, Mike Moulton is the only veterinarian in town!

I have known Dr. Mike for over 20 years and have always had the most complete confidence in him. It just about broke my heart to move to Alaska and not be able to have him care for my babies any more. Heck, when I moved to Michigan, I could still bring them down for routine visits! He's not only a great and compassionate animal care provider, but a terrific person and friend, as well. And anyone that could treat my Bagheera and survive - well, he's definitely someone special! I can no longer take my kids to him (3000 miles is just a little too far), but my Son just adopted his first "baby" and already knows he wants Dr. Mike to take care of him. God Bless you, Mike! I sure miss you and all your fabulous staff!

I CANNOT imagine taking my pets anywhere but to this clinic. Dr. Moulton has been taking care of my pets for years. He is wonderful, humane and caring -- both to my pets and to my husband and I. He has been there when we've had animals with cancer and there when it was time to say goodbye. Like humans, it is not a bad idea to get a second opinion -- after all, we did not attend medical training. A friend of mine was told by another vet that her dogs teeth needed to be removed, at a most prohibitive price. I recommended she check with Dr. Moulton, and no surgery was needed. We have three dogs and three cats currently and I would never take them somewhere else.

Mike and his staff have taken care of 4 of our pets (2 dogs and 2 cats) and we can only compliment them! They've been very human on treating our pets and tried to avoid unnecessary procedures or suffering. We have recommended them to friends and their experience has been equally good.

This clinic performed a very unnessesary operation on my cat. Something that we found out could have been solved with an enima, now is costing us $400.00. Not to mention the trauma they put our family pet through!! They even looked at an x-ray, and still did not draw the conclusion that an enima would solve the problem, even after stating,"Her bowls are really backed up & full". Our cat had swallowed a string ball, and they told us the ONLY place it could be was in her stomach,(stating 97% sure) and our only option was surgery ASAP. After opening her, they realized it was in her large intestin, (her bowl). This should have been caught with the x-ray, or atleast we should have been offered an enima for her, NOT SURGERY!!! I don't consider this to be very professional. I assume they need more training, or possibly they were just concerned about how they were going to pay their bills at home. Hope you spent our money wisely! If you come to this clinic, GET A SECOND OPINION SOMEWHERE ELSE TO SAVE YOUR ANIMAL & FAMILY THE TRAUMA THEY MIGHT NOT HAVE TO GO THROUGH!!!! This vet also told me," This is what she would do if it were her cat." Poor cat!! ALSO- It was not Michael who was her vet this day, it was a lady, and her name is not on my receipt or I would post it! BEWARE- They are concerned more of money at this clinic, than the care of an animal!!!
