Unlike other groomers, she doesn't charge outrageous prices for any service cat related. My cat is a large long hair (likely maine coon, but I found him at a shelter.), he had a large matte on his back near his tail, and plenty smaller mattes all over his furr, so I had called before coming in to schedule an appointment to get him shaved; The price was going to be around 30 dollars I was told over the phone, which is still 50 less than any other place. On the car ride there, my cat broke out of his case (he Broke the gate right off it) and she was fine with me just carrying him in (that's a plus). Once I got inside, she said to the effect that he didn't need to be shaved, and all that was needed was his matte to be pulled out. She then got a comb and just pulled them off. She offered to clip his nails too. All together, with the Matte removal, nail clipping and Comb (it's a great comb) it was only $15. She even said "I talked myself out of a job" She almost always smiled -but not in the creepy way- and had the same impression as a grandma, Pros: Friendly, Helpful, Local, Loving, Affordable (but not bad quality), Honest Cons: Only Accepts cash, but that's not reason enough to Deduct a star; There's an atm About 10 minutes away, so there's no inconvenience. The two most striking aspects of the experience were that she did talk herself out of $15; She's not in it entirely for the money is what this tells me, but of course she does need to make a living. The last thing is that I had to hold my cat while she pulled the mattes and clipped the nails. I should make my sentence sound less "she made me do her job," because this was an enjoyable experience; She never said "hold your cat," I felt more compelled to. And Even if she did ask me to hold him, I would still have felt the same about it; my cat is huge and strong, he's not a one person job. Being able to hold my cat back while she did her thing was an enjoyable experience: It was more personal and human. . I am coming back for all my cat's needs.
