The Best Pet For A Family

When you have a family with small kids, it is very tempting to run out and get them the first fuzzy, cuddly and cute looking pet you run across. Because doesn’t every kid need a pet to take care of? Sure, every kid would like to have a pet, but that doesn't mean it is possible or feasible for your family to do. There are several things to take in to consideration when you are considering getting... Continue Reading

I will never believe Dr Greg is a bad vet. He took care of my wolf hybrid on short notice & taught me a lot about hybrids & the problems that are caused by mixed breeding. Kudos to Dr Greg...he's awesome. ercimom45@yahoo.com

Dr Murray is the only doctor of 4 who diagnosed my pet correctly. He seems to truly care about animals and does his best. He seems to devote himself to try to save the animal he comes across.

Dr. Murray and his staff saved my cat after I accidentally ran over him. During the time my cat was in their care they were very receptive to me going in the back to visit with 'Joe' on a daily basis. Since then I have taken other cats and my rabbit in for treatment. I have found the staff extremely courteous and knowledgable. I would never go anywhere else at this point. I don't understand the negative reviews, either. Dr. Murray rocks!

I am shocked and dismayed to read some of the negative reports on this site because they are the antithesis to every experience I've ever had with Dr. Murray. In fact, I highly recommended him to my ex-husband for his two dogs, as well as to other friends who are as loyal as I. In fact, I have been taking all my dogs and cats to Dr. Murray for over a decade. He is the most knowledgeable and dedicated veterinarian I have ever met! He also saved my cat's life and even re-attached her tail after a Pit Bull attack, and has performed bladder stone surgery on my Shih Tzu twice! He is so dedicated to his precious animals, his home is behind the clinic. He was deeply saddened when he had to put down our beloved cat Max due to Cancer. He cares so much about his animals, and is always extremely patient with pet owners, carefully sketching out explanations before performing any treatment. His staff is warm and caring, and their new facility (built after his old office was damaged by the 2004 hurricanes) is beautiful and clean. I completely trust Dr. Murray and his staff with the care of all my animals. I would never go to any other veterinarian.

I can relate to you jeff I also lost a love one in the hands of this butcher we took our lovely beautiful dachshund, we took her to the clinic as an emergency she was pregnant and had jump from the couch when we were out . we found her by the door paralized , he looked at her give her a shot of cortisone and suggested to have surgery on her that he will give me a prize i could not resist compare to other doctors , he gave her a 99 percent recovery if we do it fast. we took her home some how i did not trust him next day she was doing better was on her feet wag her tail and was trying to get to the paper i took her she did her stuff with out any help , took her to him , told me he was going to call me in a couple of hours
called me past midnight , mumbling that once he open her he discover that she had to much damaged she was never be able to walk , when we picked her up you had to squezzed her bladder she had no feeling , never walked again never wag her beautifull tail again , still i took care of her for 3 long sad years one day she was bleeding , decided that if i had to sacrifice her i was going to let the butcher finished his job, he requested for us to be there . I have been feeling guilty since then , later i found out about his drug abuse and he been arrested . I saw him the other day after so many years he walks in pain with a lot of difficulty his hands were filthy he looked pale and he was rude with the person trying to take care of him, he keept screaming his pain out i guess he needed his much loved pain killer .....live paying back

Please do NOT take your pet here if you have any choice!!
We took my sweet cat Russell here one night because he had swallowed a piece of ribbon. The lady at the front desk mentioned she had never heard of a Russian Blue, which is NOT any kind of rare cat. Next we were escorted into a dingy exam room where a vet tech examined my cat. She left and came back telling us the doctor wished to operate immediately. Dr. Murray then shambled in (my girlfriend and I are convinced he was drunk), barely mumbled a word to us then shambled out. We did not feel comfortable but it was an emergency so we left our little angel with him.
That was the last time we ever saw Russell alive. Less than 2 hours later I received a call from Dr. Murray telling me that Russell did not even make it into surgery. During anasthesia, he claimed Russell had a seizure, then another, then a heart attack and could not be revived. He also sounded drunk/upset during this phone call and could not even explain what went wrong, he acted like he had no idea. Russell was a special needs cat and had gone through at least 5 surgeries in the previous 2 years, never having ANY problem with anasthesia or complications with his surgeries. He was a warrior and probably died because Dr. Murray SCREWED UP!
The next day I went to get his body and more horrible service followed. First they had still charged me for the surgery and had to leave the room and come back 3 times to figure out that they didn't even start it. Then they charged me for an x-ray that Dr. Murray told me would not be charged, I had to make them remove that also. Still they charged me over $400 for basically killing my cat. The vet tech who explained this to us was extremely rude, calling my cat 'it' the whole time and making several errors. I suspected they had screwed up so I wanted a necropsy - the tech told me we couldn't do one because over the phone I had turned down the necropsy option. They also said it was too late now because they had frozen Russell due to me turning down the necropsy. Firstly - I never turned down or even was asked about a necropsy! Secondly, I asked my normal vet and she said that was total BS so I took the body and she did a necropsy that day, no problem.
It seems like they screwed up the pre-op and were trying to cover it all up and still overcharge me, while being rude .I had my vet call them and they were rude and aggressive with her, and she told me she was very suspicious and demanded full medical reports from them. We then did research and saw that Aloma Jancy has an 'F' rating from the BBB. Dr. Murray has also had his license revoked in the past for drug abuse. I am filing a formal complaint to the state board and BBB, I truly wish I had called a different number that night, my cat probably would have lived for many more years :(
